I am a registered nurse who works 3-4 days a week.
I have 3 year old quadruplets who attend school twice a week.
My darling diva of a daughter is in dance and tumbling twice a week.
Life. Is. Busy.
Here is a sneak peek of my schedule from 7a to 7:30p:
- shower
- bathe quads, dry hair, lotion
- make breakfast, feed kids, prepare lunches & backpacks
- dress kids, squeeze on 4 pair of shoes
- finish getting myself ready, dry hair, makeup
- load up and drop kids off at school
- head to work at surgery center for 5 hours
- pick kids up from school
- get home, give snacks, get Savannah ready for dance
- load up all the kids and head to dance
- entertain boys while we wait for Sav for an hour
- class ends, head home
- eat dinner
- play with Dad, brush teeth
- story time, prayers, bedtime
PHEWWWWWWWW! Tired yet?!
And we will only get busier- with more activities to cram into our daily schedules as the years go by!
There are 2 very important things that get me through each day (and enable me to maintain my sanity):
(1) time management & (2) multi-tasking
I thank the good Lord for making me an extremely organized person (I have always LOVED a good spreadsheet…it’s a wee bit sickening, I know). Especially with quadruplets- you HAVE to be organized and efficient.
Spending as much time as I can with my beautiful children means the absolute world to me…
…that is why I am always looking for ways to DO MORE FASTER! For example: less time spent on the computer = more time with my little buddies.

More free time? I would probably just do something for FUN - I go days without just doing something for no reason - you know? Just some think time and chillax.
I have a sweet 22 month old, and am expecting our 2nd sweet girl in 3 months. If I had extra time, I would totally clean my house and then go get a coke from Sonic and read people Magazine while drinking it. :) A girl can dream, right?!
I would research and learn how to do some more remodeling on our house.
My husband and I just bought our first house - 109 years old! We are doing our best to save money and learn how to fix things ourselves, so a new computer (b/c our old laptop just died a few months ago) would be super handy every time we need to google "how to plaster walls yourselves" :)
Spend more time doing things for myself - reading a good book, making a craft, or lounging around with my hubby!
Well, I work full-time; I am mom to a 2 almost 3 year old little boy; a wife and I am getting my master's degree. I have no free time, so with more free time, I would spend that time with my son and husband.
I would definitely have a much cleaner house! :)
If had had more free time - i would take a nap. actually, try and go out on a date with my partner.
With more time, I would probably actually have time for myself. I would have time to get a haircut, watch TV or even maybe get a pedicure :)
with more time I might be more organized! I feel like I live & work in chaos!

As much as I'd like to say workout, I have to be honest and say SLEEP!
If I had more time I would get back to my scrapbooking. I miss the creative time with my girl friends or the quiet time alone. But it is all about preserving our family memories.
If I had extra time I would learn how to cook so my poor husband wouldn't have to grill all the time!
I'd use extra time to do some of those projects around the house that never get done, like cleaning the junk out of the basement and closets.

"Free" time. I'll take that to mean time when miraculously I wouldn't have my endless to-do or "I should be doing" lists. Truly free time, I think I would read...or sleep. :)

When my kids are in pre-school I run errands or come back home to clean up or prep for dinner. If I truly had free time on my hands I would read, take a bath and go to bed early.

I would figure out a way to stay home with my girls.

More free time? I'd actually start exercising again! Just a little bit of time to take a walk or a bike ride? Just escape for a bit of Mommy time!
I would make sure that I spend more time with my family.........life goes by way too fast.

With more free time I would organize my holiday decorations into cute, color-coded, labeled Rubbermaid bins. LOVE being organized..but have no time!!
With more time, I would spend more time with my two boys & my hubby. My oldest is in big school now & I work a 50-60 hour week. Hubs works 24 hour shifts plus other jobs on his 48 hours off so we don't get enough time with him. Times are tough so we make the best of the time we all have together as a family. :)

I'd share more pictures. Our family is spread around and I take thousands of photos but am only able to share a handful. Faster processing time would make more time for just that - I LOVE it!!

if i had more free time {and i wasn't an exhausted mama} i would totally READ! i miss cuddling up with a good book on a regular basis...right now it's so sporadic! :)
I'd like to think that I would do something really productive that I have put off for a long time....organizing photos, cleaning closets, etc... Reality would probably involve me sitting next to my hubby on the couch watching something mindless on TV. :)
If I had free time I would focus on photography and the time to edit my pictures!
If I had a a little more time in my day, I'd spend more time embroidering, exercising, and playing with the kiddos!
Oh man, I'd be able to go back to my hobbies again (reading, making cards, hiking) instead of the endless rounds of trying to balance work and home!

If I had the opprotunity to have more free time I would love to go back to school. I would love to either be a nurses aid or a nurse and work at a children's hospital. That is a big part of our lives having a special needs son.
With more free time I would start playing the piano again, work out and try to organize my pictures.

I have a set of three year old twins, so do not have much free time either (I don't know how you do it with quads - you rock!) With more free time I would scrap more and organize my thousands of photos. I am GREAT at taking them, not so great at printing and scrapping with them even though I love to work on that when I get a few free moments (which barely ever happens). What would I not do with more free time.....but the thing that I really want to do that I don't have time for is cooking. I am always in a hurry so I am always eating horrible fast food and would love to have time to cook and make healthy meals that I would enjoy much more.
Amazing give away, and seriously totally know what you mean about time! With my 4 girls ranging from 14 months 10 almost 10 years old, working now 2 days a week, dance on thursdays from 5:30-7:45, church twice a week, seriously when is the house supposed to get clean!!! Much less the laundry and dishes!

Thats a loaded question, with so many different answers. I would love to spend individual time with each of my four boys and my husband but never seem to find the time to squeeze it all in. Someday....

With more free time I would put my craft room to use and start doing some fun crafts with my 3 year old. :)
I would sleep- I hate getting up at 4am for work because in order to get a good night's sleep I would have to be in bed by 8pm. That is not possible with a 4 year old and a six year old! I am often still up at 11pm or later trying to finish laundry or clean or..... That means another night of 5 hours hours of sleep (or less).
I'd save the freaking world, or puppies. No, really, I'd probably just look decent, put on makeup and real clothes...
i would do something fun for myself. i work full-time nights, but take care of my 3 kids during the day. it's like 2 full-time jobs. i NEED a break.

I would sleep! I have three kids under three, including a 4 month old who still wakes a couple of times a night, and a husband who works 100+ hours a week. Yeah, I could use a nap!
With more free time I would try to do more fun stuff with my hubby! I'm in residency right now, so any free time I have totally makes me fill guilty that I'm not studying for boards...
If I had more free time I would want to spend it with the family. It seems like it is bed time so soon after getting home at night that I don't get to spend enough time with them.

Cross Stitch! I am working on a project (gift) that should have been done in October.
Also, I would get all my photos organized and labeled on the computer.
I'm a first-year middle school math teacher at a school in the middle of restructuring. I spend about 80 hours a week at school(plus another couple hours of stuff at home each day) to get all of my meetings, planning, and communications done... especially since my home laptop is unable to use any of the software that I need for my SmartBoard in the classroom or my online gradebook.
If I could have more free time, maybe I'd be able to eat or sleep again!

With more time, I would find more families who just had a baby and desperatly need help of a post partum doula (me) to show them how to take care of the baby, breastfeeding, and help THEM to get organized once they brought the baby home !!
And if i had even more time then that I'd head to Texas and take care of your cutie pies so you can go out and have a nice date with your hubby :) (and id bring my little one, to add to chaos lol)
My time is consumed with a four month old...if I had a minute of free time I would A. take a really long nap and B. go get a pedicure by myself! :)

I would read all of the books I've been too busy to read.
With free time I would not be getting up at 6 am on a Saturday morning just to clean my house before everyone gets up, so I can spend more time with them when they do get up. I would also actually stop talking about it and actually go to the gym and work out.
What would I Do with more time? Sleep, exercise, spend some quality time with my hubby, get some one on one time with each of my kids, hang out with friends, hang out with my sister, get a massage...
Oh wait...were we supposed to pick just one thing? ha!
well, with almost 2 year old twins, i almost NEVER have "me time" and there is never a dull moment (i'm sure you can relate)! i think if i could just have a little free time, i would be able to get sooooooo much sewing done (and crafting) that i wouldn't have to stay up so late getting it all done! that would be super nice!!!
With more time in the day, I'd have a MUCH cleaner house.

With more free time, I might actually finish baby books, scrapbooks & photo albums. The stack is sure getting high!
Daily life is SO hectic with a 6 & a 2 year old, but it is oh SO good!

Oh wow what wouldn't I do with more time...I guess my honest answer would be to spend more time with ELLY!!!! She's in 1st grade and I work full time. I honestly only spend 4 hours a day with her...and it's just not enough. CRY!
Working 3 days a week, having 2 girls under the age of 19 months and a husband that works LONG hours - I just want a night out with him - work and kid free. We NEVER get to have time to ourselves. I would LOVE to spend some free time with him.

What would I do if I had more free time? Well I am a full time student, I work full time, and I nanny on the side for extra income. If I had more free time, I would nanny more often and concentrate on school work. My life is busy! I have hardly any free time to nanny, which I LOVE to do. I have been a nanny for 7 years and have always been a nanny for multiples, who were born prematurely, and I take care of them at night so the parents can rest. It is so rewarding and I love it.
If I had more free time I would check off more books that I want to read!!
