I would love this machine, but I think I would like the oven that doubles as a fridge. I have no idea what brand it is, but it would be great if I could put something in the fridgoven in the morning when I go to work, and not worry about the food sitting out when it only needs to cook for an hour. What a time saver.
Also on the new washer/dryer I noticed you said it had a countdown to completion timer, that would be WONDERFUL!

My heart just about jumped out of my chest when BlogHer asked me to chose which brand new SAMSUNG appliance I would like to review (and OWN)! Are you serious?!?!? I made Joe re-read the email over and over to make sure I was translating it correctly. YEP!
And YES--SAMSUNG! They dominate at everything else electric, so why not appliances?
We, the Steece family of 6, are now the proud owners of the Samsung, top-o-the-line, extra large capacity, front loading washer (model: #WF448AAP)
and dryer (model: #DV448AEP)--complete with pedestals!!!
Out with the old...(I'm gonna miss you, 'ole buddy 'ole pal...we've been through LOADS of baby spit up together)
...and in with the brand, spankin' new! 
LOVE Mr. Delivery Man's face---"YES! They are quadruplets!" (notice the quad-crowd watching from above?)
Well...whadya think, guys? (The kids were in awe of the giant machines!)

But enough gawkin'...Mama has work to do! You see, I saved up on laundry so that I could run several different loads in the new W&D! (Yah right...who am I kiddin'...this is Mom & Dad's laundry on a GOOD week!)
Time to sit down and read through those user manuals (Yes! I am THAT particular and thoroughly read through each and every instruction booklet before setting up new gadgets, don't you?) The booklets were very easy and concise.

Here are a few of my favorites:
1. EXTRA LARGE CAPACITY!- it can wash a king sized comforter or up to 28 bath towels in a single load! Which is awesome in a house full of 6--the laundry adds up VERRRY quickly! By washing fewer loads--I save time, money, water, and energy! (Ethan checking things out)
2. VRT (Vibration Reduction Technology)- performs smoothly at top spin speeds while minimizing noise and vibration. (Fantastic for sleeping kiddos!)
3. Stylish Design- heck ya! Funny how the most exquisite part of our house has now become our laundry room!
4. Diamond Drum- Tiny little holes that are 36% smaller than conventional drums which prevent fabrics from getting caught or damaged
5. LCD Display & Center Jog Dial- it is SO easy to use and I love how the screen lights up in the dark as well! Look at all of those different cycles! I also love the countdown to completion. 
The child lock button will also come in handy with 4 curious kids sneaking in and out of rooms they shouldn't be in! Just press the "Soil Level" & "Signal" buttons simultaneously.
6. Silver Care Sanitation Cycle- 16 million trillion silver (widely known for its antimicrobial properties) ions are released during this particular cycle which does NOT use HOT water---This, in turn, uses 92% LESS energy while killing more than 99.9% of bacteria.
Things to take into consideration:
- Expensive: From what I have researched, this is the "top of the top of the line" when it comes to washing machines and averages around $1400. This particular washer is among the most highly rated front-loading washers in professional appliance testing (Consumer Reports & Good Housekeeping) and I believe it! It is amazing!
- Silver plates must be replaced after 1,000 Silvercare Cycles have been run. If you push the signal button and the silver care button simultaneously, the total number of silver cycles run will be displayed...so it is easy to keep track.

Here are a few of my favorites:
1. Fuzzy Logic Algorithm- What's this you ask? Sensors measure the degree of dampness and automatically set the drying time! Talk about super energy efficient! I love that it automatically shuts off when it detects that the clothes are perfectly dry to the particular level you choose (5 different drying levels: very dry to damp dry) and not a second longer---no more crisp clothes that have been blown to bits!
2. Mixed Load Bell- When laundry contains various types of cloth which vary in weight and drying time, a bell will alarm when the average dry level is 80% dried---perfect for taking out those polos that Joe doesn't want dried all the way and wrinkled! (I LOOOOVE this feature!)
3. Extra Large Capacity- Again, I am amazed at the amount of laundry I can fit into the washer & dryer! They are HUGE!
4. Refresh or Steam cycle- Say you want to wear something that has been hanging in your closet, smushed and wrinkled---simply throw it in the dryer under "refresh cycle" and it will spray a small amount of water while tumbling with heat. It reduces bad odor and wrinkles! Awesome.
5. Wrinkle Care- It is a button you can push with any cycle-- a small amount of water is sprayed into the drum to release wrinkles from items that have been left in the dryer too long and will continue for up to 90 minutes. I was completely amazed as I pulled load after load out of the dryer and the clothes were hardly wrinkled at all!
6. Rack Dry- Items such as stuffed toys, sweaters, foam rubber pillows, shoes, etc. can be dried on a drying rack so they won't be tossed around. Very COOL!
Things to take into consideration:
- Expensive: Average price is around $1300. (But you definitely get what you pay for and you end up using less energy so it all evens out, right?!)

Every time I do a load of laundry I hope my stupid washing machine will die. I hate that machine. It's only a few years old and there's nothing wrong with it, it's just a terrible design and does a terrible job. A chunk of money to buy a new one would certainly be its ticket out of here.

I'll take the washer/dryer if I were to win, but I wanted to add to the review that if parts fail, good luck getting a replacement. I had a Samsung fridge (under extended warranty from BB) that stopped cooling....the summer I was pregnant. They couldn't fix it, Best Buy would give me a refund but WOULD NOT come and pick up the fridge, nor deliver a new fridge. It took some convincing, but I wouldn't pay for a Samsung appliance now....however, for free....maybe they could change my mind!

I would say washer and dryer. I think that gets the most vigorous use in our house. I mean really, how many times can a refrigerator be opened by a 2 year old and he can't even get at the freezer or dishwasher yet? Washer and dryer, definitely!

Oh man, that's EASY today. My refrigerator is ready to give up the ghost. After 16 years, I am not surprised, and actually am thrilled that it lasted this long. But, we're gonna be in the market for a new fridge soon I suspect, and I LOVE what Samsung's got!!

Boy, until you asked, I didn't realize how much I need a new washer and dryer. Except that I have those. But I don't have a dishwasher AT ALL. So maybe that tops the list! Yes, indeedy, I need a dishwasher.

The washing machine would definitely make my life easier. Our current washing machine came with the house and still works, but it has terrible rusting inside. I found out the hard way that I can't run a full load in the machine without getting rust stains on everything.
It's inside all the way around where I can't reach, so it's pretty much unfixable. Since the machine still works I can't justify getting a new one, but a gift card would go a long way toward changing that!
i actually have the samsung washer but in red. i am saving for the dryer which i would love to own someday! i do love the washer & feel it gets our clothes much cleaner than our old washer!

My boyfriend and I just moved into a house, which luckily came with a new stove and fridge, but unfortunately the washer and dryer are a little sad looking (and the washer is definitely a little more cruddy than the dryer)! We love our house, but sadly, not our washer. And we wash a fair amount of clothes, even though there's only two of us...I work two jobs and my part-time job requires a uniform and apron which I'm constantly having to wash! And that looks like the type of washer/dryer I see in the store and drool over, they're so pretty! Thanks!

Definitely the washer & dryer. With 6 people living in our house, the washer and dryer are constantly being used. Which also means that loads are being left in over night...which leads to wrinkles!!! So, we are definitely big-time "fluffers" in our house!

The washer would really help us! ours is 15 years old and takes 3-4 spin cycles to draint he water (which makes laundry day extra long!)

While I would love to say the w/d, I'm going to have to go with refrigerator. I've seen the Samsung fridges, and they are amazing. We're probably going to be replacing ours (15 years old, came with our house) in the next year or two, but Samsung is waaaaaaaay out of our price range!
Can I choose two??? Having four munchkins of our own I always have a ton of laundry to do and I promise that our refrigerator shrinks every week as the kids appetites increase! ;)

Our freezer and fridge are way too small, so I think that is my top priority! However - the range, washer and dryer, as well as the dishwasher are all great in my opinion - we could use updates in all of these areas!

How fun! Love it! Would definitely use it to go towards the washer/dryer & pedestals! I have this lovely washer that takes FOREVER and a DAY to wash 1 load..then we move onto my dryer that oh my goodness, takes 1.5 hours to dry anything! And the sad thing about it is they are only 1.5 years old, my husband went without me to the store and purchased these because they were on SALE! I told him oh no you leave the SALE to me! Next time we are definitely getting the same pair you have!
A new dishwasher, to replace the noisy, loud, obnoxious one we have now.

Ours is broken -- when you try to dry clothes, the machine makes a terrible noise (something's wrong with the belt). Plus, it doesn't dry clothes anymore; the most important job a dryer can do!
Our dryer came with the new house, and it's probably 10 years or older. A new dryer would be such a treat! :)
A Range would make our lives easier, with 1 knob broke off and 2 burners not working, with family holiday coming up, a new range would be a blessing.

The washer and dryer would definately make my life much easier. I have a hand-me-down washer from my mother that is probably 15 years old. I am very thankful to have it, but it is hard to wash somethings. It goes out of balance at least once a week and washing my Boppy pillow is almost imposible.
I would def. say the Range Electric (FTQ387LWGX)because I've always wanted a ceramic top one and I think I would cook more if my range was easier to keep clean!

Definitely W/D! I leave laundry in the dryer way to long at times and they are a wrinkled mess when I take them out! And I can't tell you how many times I have had great intentions to take something out before it is crispy dry and well...I can't wear those clothes anymore!

For me, the electric range would make my life much easier!
The range we have right now has two larger eyes and two smaller ones, with one of the larger ones not working at all. The range is the original that came with the house (built in the early 80's) so it would be so nice to get a nice replacement!
For now...I just skip cooking on that eye and hope the smaller ones continue to work!

I have looked at these myself at Lowes and was in awe! I would be over the moon with a W/D set. We have had ours for over 8 years. Ouch! Thank you for this opportunity.

A dishwasher for sure! As a stay at mother/wife of 2 little ones (and one more due shortly) I spend waaaayyy too much time washing dishes because our current dishwasher is useless.
I LOVE that these are TALL!!! And you don't have to crouch so low to the ground to load them (something I KNOW my hubby didn't think about when he purchased our front loaders since he doesn't do the bulk of the laundry)... but I still have to go with the fridge :)
I would love a new washer and dryer. I love doing laundry so that would be fun :)

We just had to replace our washer. Got it Tuesday. It leaks. Yep. So yeah, a new washer that doesn't leak would be awesome!

I'd love the washer/dryer, but since I'm a single mom with an "empty nest" the washer and dryer don't get the workout they once did. However, my refrigerator sings me an unpleasant lullaby every evening and I'm just waiting for it to die, so I must go with the REFRIGERATOR.
I'd have to go with the dryer. I skimped out on the dryer when I bought a W&D, and bought pretty much the bottom of the line. Steam-dried clothes and no more ironing? BRING IT ON!
Ahhh the joys of suffering with old kitchen appliances. I could totally use a new refrigerator...one that actually looks like it belongs with the rest of our appliances!

I could really use a new refrigerator. Mine is a single door and it doesn't open up far enough because the door hits a wall! I definitely need a french door fridge.

When did appliances become so beautiful! Wow. I need one of everything, but a refrigerator would be my first choice. My poor ice maker spits ice at me all the time, and it's way too small.
I would love the range. I would be a joy to bake with a convection oven!

The oven would totally be the most helpful for me. Ours is old and on the small side.

much as i would love a beautiful new w/d, ours are working just fine for now. i'd use the gc for a new fridge...ours has ice-in-the-door and has broken causing a water leak that broke the water/ice dispenser. hubs and i are holding out til he's done w/ law school. :) thanks for the chance to win :)
