Tropicana Post #2- Indoor Safari Park!

This is a compensated review by BlogHer and Tropicana.

I am currently taking part in the Tropicana Juicy Rewards Program. By taking one minute out of my day (literally), I enter codes from our Tropicana purchases and receive amazing discounts on Amusement Parks, Museums, Concerts and so much more!

We recently redeemed ONE point for a discount at the Indoor Safari Park: 50% off 4 play passes (a savings of $20!). Here is what the print out looks like:

When we told the kids where we were going, they were busting at the seams with excitement! (Stay tuned for the cute video montage at the end of this post) Meet our quads: Ethan, Ben, Andrew, and Savannah

I handed our coupon to the sales clerk and we were on our way! We rode on choo choo trains...

and Dad even tried to show us how to play putt putt.

Andrew is practicing his technique...

Talk about an obstacle course! I laughed outloud as I watched Joe trying to putt around the wandering kids.

The Kids World section was a blast!

Sav enjoyed playing with the blocks...

Drew could not stop smiling!

My boys playing in the ball pit (insert Mom cringing! Afterward I rubbed them down with plenty of hand sanitizer---we buy that stuff in BULK! lol)

Sav, my fearless leader, was the first of the kids to try out the giant blue slide.

Ethan, my careful observer, did not know what to think about the slide (later, we couldn't keep him off of it- see video below!)

Dad and Drew- clowning around as always

Ben rode around on a plasma car...

While Drew rode around on a zebra...no joke! They had mechanical animals that the kids could ride around the area. Sweetness.

Mama gettin' some sweet sugar from E-bud.

Benny playing at the train table station

Savi cooking up a feast on the play kitchens

Ben joining in on the food preparation...

One last pic of me and the crew before we hit up a pizza place! What a fun way to spend a cold and rainy Saturday morning!!!

Here is a 1 minute video of the kids in action! We had SO much fun!

Can you believe that ALL of these activities only cost us around $20 (regularly $40)?!! Many times, I feel a great amount of Mommy guilt because it usually costs a fortune to do fun, family outings with 4 children. I am SO glad that I found out about this Tropicana Juicy Rewards Program so that we can take advantage of discounts more often!

Go HERE to register and start saving on YOUR very own family fun time!

I love to sit inside and relax with the windows and doors open on rainy days. That is, of course, unless it's raining so hard that it's coming down sideways... Then I keep the windows closed :)

We like to head to Chick Fil A and eat lunch and take advantage of the indoor play place there. My daughter has to have an outlet for energy, so we are always looking for something fun to do on rainy days. The place you visited looks awesome!!

Its difficult to take our family of 5 many places, but we love to rent movies and curl up at home to watch together.

On rainy days, we like to head over to our library that has a WONDERFUL children's library that is completely walled off and seperate from the rest of the library. They have a great area set up with bean bags, puzzles, building blocks and of course, books. My little guy could spend hours there doing (and re-doing) all of the puzzles and climbing in and out of the huge clawfoot tub they have as a "seating area".

On gentle, warm rainy days, we love to go outside in the rain and jump in puddles! On super stormy days, we like to build tents in our game room and curl underneath with lots of books.

Rainy days... we usually hang out inside and play fun games.

I just asked my almost 5 year old daughter, "Katelyn what do we usually do on rainy days?" Her response, "We could go to houses, you know of our families. We could go to Granddad's and then Mimi's. We could take turns at different houses." :)

I love going to bounce places when it rains, or our science center.

stay inside in pajamas!

My new found love with a rainy day is to put on old clothes and get out in the rain with Lil Man. It is so awesome to hear him laughing in the rain. If it's a cold rainy day then we cuddle with a good book or catch up on Gullah Gullah Island and Upside Down Show.

Molly said...

We love to get in the kitchen and bake or make dinner together!! She also likes to get her rainboots on and umbrella up and go splash around if it isn't a storm!

Personally...I'd love to SLEEP on a rainy day but with 3 kids under 18 months that won't happen anytime soon! A road trip to Nana's house or maybe just loading up for drivethru Wendy's....How nice it would be to have an indoor park like that around here!!!

Rainy days mean lazy days at our house (on the weekends at least!). Good for setting up the tent and "camping out" in the living room, board games, popcorn and movie snuggles.

On rainy days, I like to get the family involved in playing a board game. We always have a ton of fun -- and it gets the kids away from their Wii and PS3 for a little while!
